For any project, health and safety requirements should be given the utmost care and attention, and it is for this reason that Quay Property Consultants is pleased to act as your Health and Safety Construction, Design & Management (CDM) Coordinator. In this role we can:
- Advise you on complying with your duties under health and safety regulations
- Advise you on the competence of members of your design team, giving you an independent opinion on the adequacy of resources allocated to your the project - prior to their appointment being confirmed, if requested
- Notify the Health and Safety Executive about your projects
- Co-ordinate design, planning and preparation for construction where these things are relevant to health and safety
- Ensure proper flow of health and safety information between your designers, contractors and you
- Offer you professional advice on the suitability of your initial construction plan, and assess the adequacy of welfare facilities on-site throughout your project
- Produce a Health and Safety document for use once the construction phase is over
